Personality

Status: Concept

A face for your desk.

We are designing the AVEYK Desktop Robot to show character through simple, expressive faces — calm most of the time, playful when it matters.

Everything on this page is a concept. Nothing here has been demonstrated on a working prototype yet.

Expressions

Seven faces, one character.

Choose an expression to see how the display might look. These are illustrations of designed animations — not feelings.

Choose an expression

Character

A personality with restraint.

  1. Expressive, not emotional

Its faces are designed animations. The robot does not have feelings, and we do not claim it can read yours.

  2. Calm by default

Most of the time it should be quiet. Expressions are short and purposeful, never attention-seeking.

  3. Present, not demanding

A companion on your desk that you can glance at — not another screen asking for your time.

A day on the desk

Status: Concept

How it might fit your day.

  1. Morning

    A small hello

When you arrive, a brief greeting on its display — then it settles down.

  2. Deep work

    Quiet company

During a focus session it stays calm and still, so it never competes for attention.

  3. Break

    A nudge to look up

When a session ends, a gentle change of expression suggests a pause.

  4. zz

    Evening

    Winding down

As the day ends, its face dims into a sleepy expression.

Potential use cases

Status: Concept

Where it could help.

  • Focus sessions

A visible, friendly signal that you are in a work block.

  • Study companion

A desk presence for students during long revision sessions.

  • Mindful breaks

A cue to stand up, stretch or look away from the screen.

  • A calmer desk

Character on your desk without another notification feed.

To be clear

What we don't claim.

  • It does not experience emotions.
  • It does not recognise, read or diagnose how you feel.
  • Expressions are not evidence of understanding.

An idea under exploration. Not a committed feature.
